Voltaren-XR Side Effects

Common Voltaren-XR side effects, such as gas, itching, or heartburn, are usually minor and easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Some side effects, however, can be life-threatening and require immediate attention. Call 911 if you experience potentially serious side effects of Voltaren-XR, including chest pain, weakness on one part of the body, or shortness of breath. Most people tolerate the drug without problems, however.

An Introduction to Voltaren-XR Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Voltaren®-XR (diclofenac sodium extended-release); but not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in many cases, they are minor, meaning they require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.
