Vistaril Drug Interactions

When Vistaril is taken with certain medications, such as anticholinergic drugs, alcohol, or phenothiazine medications, drug interactions may occur. These interactions with Vistaril could increase your risk of developing certain side effects, such as dry mouth, constipation, dry eyes, or difficulty passing urine. To avoid any complications, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking before starting treatment with Vistaril.

An Overview of Vistaril Interactions

Vistaril® (hydroxyzine) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to drug interactions with Vistaril include:
