Vicodin Safety

Although most people tolerate Vicodin® (hydrocodone/APAP) well, this medication is not suitable for everyone. For instance, you may not be able to take Vicodin safely if you have certain medical conditions, such as hypothyroidism, liver disease, or a history of drug or alcohol abuse. Before starting treatment with Vicodin, make sure you talk to your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking.
