Tramadol is not approved for use in children under the age of 16. Talk with your child's healthcare provider about the risks and benefits of using the drug in children.
 

Is Tramadol Used for Off-Label Reasons?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend tramadol for something other than pain relief (this would be known as an "off-label" use). At this time, there are no universally accepted off-label uses for tramadol.
