Snorting Tramadol

Tramadol hydrochloride (Ultram®) can be abused in a few different ways. It can be taken as intended (by mouth), injected, or even snorted. Injecting or snorting tramadol (or other medications intended for oral use) is never recommended, as it can be dangerous.

Although tramadol is not classified as a controlled substance in most states, it does have the potential to be abused. However, it is important to distinguish between true abuse of tramadol and a simple physical dependence on the drug, which will occur with any long-term use, legitimate or not.

Your healthcare provider is a great place to start when searching for help with tramadol addiction. He or she will be able to help you deal with this problem or may suggest other resources for you.
