Toradol Injection

Toradol® (ketorolac tromethamine) can be administered in several ways, including:

  • Orally in the form of tablets
  • As an injection
  • Through an intravenous (IV) line.

Before taking the tablets or receiving an injection of Toradol, your healthcare provider will consider several factors to determine your dosage amount. For example, he or she will take into account your age and weight, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you have.

Adults should not take this medicine for more than five days. This includes days when Toradol is given by injection or through an IV and those days when the medicine is taken by mouth. Children should only receive a single dose of Toradol.
