Toradol® (ketorolac tromethamine) is approved for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe pain. This prescription medication is a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the action of certain hormones that cause pain and inflammation in the body. Toradol comes in the form of a tablet and can also be injected or used intravenously. Possible side effects include nausea, dizziness, and headaches.
