If you have fibromyalgia, your healthcare provider may prescribe Savella™ (milnacipran hydrochloride) to help relieve symptoms. The medication has been shown to be effective for improving physical functioning and decreasing pain, but it is not a cure for the condition. Savella comes in tablet form, is available in four different strengths, and is typically taken twice a day. While most people have no problems with this drug, potential side effects include headaches, dizziness, and constipation.
