Relafen Dangers

The prescription medication Relafen® (nabumetone) is generally safe and well tolerated. However, it can cause dangerous side effects and may not be suitable for everyone. For example, this medicine may not be suitable for people with heart disease or diabetes.
Common side effects that may occur during treatment include diarrhea, heartburn, and abdominal (stomach) pain. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop potentially serious side effects, such as chest pain, slurred speech, or shortness of breath.
As a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), Relafen can cause potentially serious medical conditions. Some of these dangers of Relafen include gastrointestinal bleeding, congestive heart failure, and kidney damage.
