Relafen 500 mg Tablets

Various factors affect the dose of Relafen® (nabumetone) a person is prescribed, including any other medications that are currently being taken and other existing medical conditions. There are two available strengths of Relafen tablets: 500 mg and 750 mg.

When treating osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, the recommended starting Relafen dose is 1000 mg once a day or divided into a twice-daily dose. The maximum recommended daily dosage is 2000 mg.

It may take several weeks for Relafen to begin working to its full potential. However, to minimize your risk of serious side effects, it is important to take the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time in order to treat your condition.
