Available only by prescription, Percocet® is a narcotic drug used to treat pain. The medication is a combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride. Just like any medicine, Percocet can cause side effects. Some of the most common side effects seen with this drug include constipation, drowsiness, and nausea. Before taking it, let your healthcare provider know if you have kidney disease, low blood pressure, or epilepsy.
