Sprix Medication Information

SprixTM (ketorolac nasal spray) is a drug prescribed for the short-term treatment of pain. Specifically, this medicine is used for treating moderate to moderately severe pain for up to five days. It comes in the form of a nasal spray and is used every six to eight hours.

As a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), Sprix works by blocking the production of certain hormones (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation in the body. By blocking prostaglandins, Sprix helps to alleviate pain.
