Flector Medication Information

The Flector® Patch (diclofenac patch) is a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This prescription medication is approved for the short-term treatment of pain caused by sprains, strains, and bruises in adults. It is applied to the most painful area twice a day. Although this medication is generally well tolerated, potential side effects include itching, nausea, and skin reactions at the application site.
 
Before using Flector, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on any other medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements, as well as any allergies you may have, including to medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you have any other medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, asthma, or liver disease.
