Oxicoton

Were you looking for information about OxyContin? Oxicoton is a common misspelling of OxyContin.

OxyContin® (oxycodone ER) is a prescription painkiller licensed to treat moderate to severe pain in adults. It belongs to a class of drugs known as opioids, which work by binding to opioid receptors throughout the body to produce various effects (including pain relief and cough suppression effects). Unlike short-acting oxycodone products, this medication only needs to be taken twice a day. The tablets are specially designed to release the medication continuously over a 12-hour period, which provides for more steady pain control.
