Opana ER 40 Mg

A healthcare provider may prescribe Opana® ER (oxymorphone ER) 40-mg tablets to treat moderate-to-severe pain in adults. However, the dose of Opana ER your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on a number of factors, such as the type and severity of your pain, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you are currently taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements).

Opana ER comes as an extended-release tablet that is taken by mouth twice a day (every 12 hours). There are various strengths available, ranging from 5 mg to 40 mg. Opana ER has a high potential for abuse. Do not take more than prescribed or stop taking it suddenly, as dangerous complications may occur.
