Opana ER 10 Mg

Adults who have moderate-to-severe chronic pain may receive a prescription medication called Opana® ER (oxymorphone ER). This drug comes as an extended-release tablet that is taken by mouth twice daily, with about 12 hours between each dose. It comes in several strengths, including:
 
  • Opana ER 5 mg
  • Opana ER 7.5 mg
  • Opana ER 10 mg
  • Opana ER 15 mg
  • Opana ER 20 mg
  • Opana ER 30 mg
  • Opana ER 40 mg.
 
Your healthcare provider will determine an appropriate dosage based on the type and severity of your pain, other pain medications you have taken, and other existing medical issues you may have, among other factors. It is essential that you take this medication on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after eating.
