Problems With Norco

As with many other medications, Norco® (hydrocodone/APAP) can sometimes cause problems. Some of the most common problems with Norco include side effects, such as:

  • Constipation
  • Lightheadedness
  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness
  • Nausea, with or without vomiting.

If side effects do occur, they tend to be minor and easy to treat. However, there are some potentially serious Norco reactions that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience problems such as:

  • Severe constipation
  • Slow or irregular breathing
  • A slow heart rate (bradycardia)
  • The urge to take more Norco than prescribed or for a non-medical purpose
  • Confusion
  • Difficulty passing urine
  • Severe drowsiness.
