Naprosyn Oral

If you have pain, stiffness, fever, or inflammation, you may benefit from Naprosyn® (naproxen). This medication is approved for use in adults and children, and is available by prescription only. It is used to treat several conditions, such as injury, arthritis, gout, and menstrual cramps, as well as other types of bone, muscle, or tendon pain.
As an oral medication, Naprosyn comes in the form of a tablet or liquid. It is usually taken by mouth no more than twice daily or every 12 hours as needed, or as directed by your healthcare provider. It is important to take the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time in order to treat your condition. This will decrease the chances of developing serious side effects.
Although most people tolerate this medication well, it is not suitable for everyone. Possible side effects include headaches, dizziness, and drowsiness.
