Naprosyn^® (naproxen) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) licensed to treat several conditions related to pain, inflammation, fever, and stiffness. Some specific Naprosyn uses include general pain relief and the treatment of arthritis symptoms and painful menstrual periods.The medicine is available in two forms -- Naprosyn (immediate-release) and EC-Naprosyn^® (delayed-release). In order to decrease the chances of serious side effects occurring, it is important that you take the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time in order to treat your condition.
