Motrin Tablets

Motrin® (ibuprofen) is a medication used for treating pain, inflammation, fever, and/or stiffness. It is available in several forms and strengths, some of which require a prescription. The product that is right for you, however, will depend on several factors, such as the condition being treated, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you may have.
Available in the form of an oral suspension (liquid), caplets, and tablets, Motrin works by inhibiting the action of certain hormones in the body that cause pain and inflammation.
It is best if you take your Motrin dosage with food or milk to avoid an upset stomach. It is also important to take the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time in order to treat your condition. This will decrease the chances of developing serious side effects.
(Click Dosage of Motrin for more information on using Motrin tablets, caplets, and liquid for treating pain and inflammation caused by certain conditions. This article also lists the various strengths available, as well as potential side effects and safety precautions to be aware of before beginning treatment.)
