Motrin Indications

Available in prescription and nonprescription strengths, Motrin® (ibuprofen) has several uses (also called "indications"). For example, it is approved for the following uses:
 
  • Pain relief, such as for headaches, toothaches, or pain following a procedure
  • Treatment of arthritis symptoms, including pain, stiffness, and swelling
  • Treatment of painful menstrual periods
  • Temporary relief of fever.
