Drowsiness, dizziness, and nausea are among the most common side effects of metaxalone. Side effects are typically mild and, in most cases, are easily treated. However, the medication can also cause potentially serious side effects that require medical attention. Notify your healthcare provider right away if you develop symptoms such as yellow skin, severe fatigue, or severe infections.
