Meloxicam 7.5 Mg Tablets
Various factors affect the dose of meloxicam (Mobic®) a person is prescribed, including any other medications that are currently being taken and the medical condition being treated. For treating osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, for example, the starting recommended dosage of meloxicam tablets is 7.5 mg once daily. If symptoms do not improve, your doctor may recommend increasing the dose.
For treating children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the maximum recommended daily dosage of meloxicam is 7.5 mg.
It is important to take the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time in order to treat your condition. This will decrease the chances of serious side effects occurring.
