Rare Side Effects of TramadolRare tramadol side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people taking the drug. Because these side effects are so uncommon, it is difficult to tell whether they are caused by tramadol or something else.
These rare side effects may include but are not limited to:
- Accidental injury
- Weight loss
- A rapid heart rate (tachycardia)
- Abnormal walking pattern
- Concentration problems
- Changes in taste
- Painful urination
- Menstrual problems
- Liver failure
- Low blood pressure (hypotension) or high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Heart palpitations
- Heart attacks
- Ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
