The medicine Toradol® (ketorolac tromethamine) is prescribed for a number of uses (also called "indications"). For example, it is approved to treat moderate-to-severe pain caused by several things, including but not limited to:
- A medical procedure
- Kidney stones
- Back problems
This medication is only indicated for short-term use, meaning no more than five days for adults; children should only receive single doses of Toradol.
At this time, there are no universally accepted "off-label" (unapproved) indications for Toradol.
