Relafen® (nabumetone) is frequently used to treat pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Sold as tablets (pills), Relafen comes in the following strengths:
 
  • Relafen 500 mg
  • Relafen 750 mg.
     
This medication is taken by mouth, and it may help to take it with milk or food to help avoid stomach upset. When treating arthritis symptoms, it's important to know that Relafen may take several weeks before it begins to work to its full potential.
