Who Should Not Take Fentanyl Buccal Tablets?You should not take fentanyl buccal tablets if you:
- Are allergic to Fentora, fentanyl, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Have not already been using a regularly scheduled opioid medication and are not opioid tolerant.
- Need pain medication only for acute pain (pain that is expected to last a short period of time) or pain from surgery, injuries, headaches, or migraines.
