Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs)
Combining buprenorphine with an MAOI may cause serious problems. Do not use buprenorphine if you have taken an MAOI within the past 14 days.
At high doses, buprenorphine (especially in the patch form) increases the risk of a potentially dangerous change in heart rhythm known as QT prolongation.
