Lortab 2.5/500 Tablets

Lortab® (hydrocodone/APAP) is a prescription medicine approved for relieving moderate to moderately severe pain. It comes in both tablet and elixir form, and is available in the following strengths:
 
For the 5/500 or 2.5/500 tablets, the recommended dose is one to two tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, but not to exceed eight tablets in 24 hours. For Lortab 7.5/500 or 10/500 tablets, the recommended dose is one tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed, but not to exceed six tablets in 24 hours. For Lortab 7.5/500 Elixir, the recommended dose is one tablespoonful every four to six hours as needed for pain, but not to exceed six tablespoonfuls per day.
