Exalgo Side Effects
Potentially serious side effects of Exalgo include seizures, severe constipation, or difficulty breathing. In most cases, however, people tolerate the medication quite well and any problems that occur are typically easy to treat. Common side effects include constipation, nausea, and drowsiness. Other, less common reactions include fever, anxiety, and weight loss.
An Introduction to Exalgo Side EffectsJust like any medicine, Exalgo™ (hydromorphone ER) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Exalgo. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)

Due to the way the data was reported, it is difficult to know if many of these side effects are actually due to Exalgo or are the result of unrelated factors.
