What If I Take an Overdose of Diflunisal?

People who take too much diflunisal may have overdose symptoms that include but are not limited to:
 
  • Drowsiness
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Increased heart rate
  • Sweating
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Disorientation
  • Coma
  • Death.
     
If you happen to overdose on diflunisal, seek immediate medical attention.
 

How Should Diflunisal Be Stored?

Diflunisal should be stored at room temperature in a dry place and in an airtight container. As always, keep diflunisal and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Diflunisal?

If you do not take your diflunisal as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and continue with normal dosing. Never take a double dose!

Diflunisal tablets are available in several strengths, including:
 
  • Diflunisal 250 mg
  • Diflunisal 500 mg.
