Methotrexate
If you are taking both methotrexate and diclofenac sodium, your healthcare provider may monitor you more closely. He or she may also need to adjust your dose of these drugs to prevent any negative interactions from occurring.
 
Cyclosporine
Taking diclofenac sodium and cyclosporine together may increase the risk of kidney damage. Your healthcare provider may monitor you more closely and/or adjust your dose of these drugs, depending on your particular situation.
 
Corticosteroids
Using corticosteroids with diclofenac sodium can increase the risk of bleeding. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely or adjust your dose of these drugs to prevent drug interactions from occurring.
 
Herbal and Nutritional Supplements
Several herbal and nutritional supplements can also interact with diclofenac sodium and may increase the risk of bleeding. Prior to starting diclofenac sodium, let your healthcare provider know about any natural or herbal supplements you are taking.
