Is Diclofenac Potassium Used for Children?

Diclofenac potassium is not approved for use in children.

Is Diclofenac Potassium Used Off-Label?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend diclofenac potassium for something other than the conditions discussed above. This is called an "off-label" use. Some examples of off-label diclofenac potassium uses include the relief of:

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis symptoms
Fibromyalgia symptoms
Symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE for short or lupus)
Gout symptoms
Cancer pain
Pain or inflammation caused by other conditions
Migraine headaches.

Diclofenac potassium does not cure any of these diseases, nor does it slow their progression.
