Demerol Oral

Demerol® (meperidine hydrochloride) is a prescription drug that was once commonly used for relieving pain. Many hospitals recommended that injectable forms of this medication be used only in certain situations and when other medications are not appropriate. It is generally recommended that oral Demerol products be avoided altogether in almost all situations.
