Children's Acetaminophen Strengths

Children's acetaminophen is available in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Children's acetaminophen chewable tablets and orally disintegrating tablets -- 80 mg per tablet
  • Children's acetaminophen suspension -- 160 mg per teaspoonful (equal to 160 mg per 5 mL).
     
Junior strength acetaminophen chewable tablets and orally disintegrating tablets are also available, containing 160 mg per tablet.
 

Is There a Generic Version of Children's Acetaminophen?

Currently, there are many different versions of generic children's acetaminophen available (see Generic Tylenol).
