Avinza Side Effects
There are other, less common Avinza side effects that can occur. These side effects occur in less than 5 percent of people taking the drug. For these side effects, it is difficult to tell whether they are actually caused by Avinza or other factors.
These less common Avinza side effects include, but are not limited to:
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Difficulty swallowing
- Weight loss
- Abnormal dreams
- A spinning sensation (vertigo)
- Voice changes
- Dry skin
- Taste changes
- Sexual side effects, such as impotence (erectile dysfunction, or ED), decreased sex drive, or abnormal ejaculation
- Difficulty urinating.
You may experience some or none of the Avinza side effects listed in this article. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried. Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects while taking the drug or if something "just does not seem right." While it may not be a side effect of Avinza, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
