Precautions and Warnings With Anaprox

Precautions and warnings with Anaprox extend to people with asthma, diabetes, and liver disease or liver failure, among other things. In order to prevent negative drug interactions, tell your healthcare provider about all of the medicines you're currently taking, including herbal supplements. Other precautions and warnings with Anaprox include symptoms that require emergency medial attention, such as chest pain, weakness, and slurring of speech.

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking Anaprox® (naproxen sodium) if you have:
 
Let your healthcare provider know if you:
 
  • Are pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Drink alcohol frequently
  • Smoke
  • Are having or have recently had heart surgery.
     
Also, tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
